Trinidad Landajo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes. She is currently pursuing an MFA at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, Canada. In her artistic practice, she investigates ideas related to the provenance of images in an increasingly digitalized world and their implications concerning a possible new aesthetic of the sublime in surveillance capitalism. Her current practice focuses on collecting, archiving, and transforming security camera footage, translating these images into different modes of existence and circulation.
